I am a B.E. Mechanical graduate and came here with no background in python, pandas, or anything coding-related, thanks to extreme support and brilliant teaching and guidance I can not only code in python, but I now understand the flow of the code, I can now code my own strategies backtest them and deploy them live also. My experience here has been very dynamic and full of learning. I learned the importance of algos and backtesting and various metrics by which a strong portfolio can be constructed, deployed, and monitored efficiently. Overall, I feel confident about my own strategies and algos; every second spent here is worth it.
The programme has really been a good experience for me: I’ve learned a lot about how financial markets work, how to code strategies using Python , got introduced to advanced statistical concepts and how to apply algorithms into trading systems. AlgoInsti continuously focuses on incorporating the latest market trends as a part of this course. In all, this course lays strong foundation for a career in algorithmic trading.
It was an intense 4 months, spending all day long studying algorithmic trading strategies and backtesting them on python. The programme covers all you need to start building up your knowledge and saves your time showing some key points that every algo trader must know. Thank you all and my many thanks to the mentors.
